This bathroom senator scandal is hilarious

Here's the situation.
Senator Craig has a history of .... certian sexual acts. So when Minnesota police picked him up for lewd sexual acts in an airport bathroom, the Senator basically goes along, enters a guilty plea, and does whatever his lawyer tells him to stay out of jail. Well, a few months later when all of the details are coming to light, the Senator realizes that all the police have on him is him making a jester from the stalls that is known in certian circles to mean a request for sexual intercourse. The Senator probably thought they had more evidence. Now that he knows it's weak, he's trying to withdraw his guilty plea and is fighting off accusations that he's gay. He's claiming that he didn't know what he was doing when he entered the plea, despite the fact that he had months to prepare to enter it.

Basically the way things go now, all of our politicians are either liars, or they are incredibly incompetent with horrible memories.

Most likely it's all three.

Don't forget closet homosexuals and/or pedophiles. It's never a good sign when pedophiles have more representation in a government than atheists do.

I know Crooks and Liars is about as far as one can get from a neutral source, but sometimes they point things out you miss

Fox News has already accidentally replaced the Republican "R" with a Democratic "D" when reporting on Republicans in scandal. You know, an accident.... twice.

Now Fox is pulling a few more stunts:
Quote:
Summary: From 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET on August 27, Fox News devoted only 3 minutes and 47 seconds to segments discussing Sen. Larry Craig's lewd-conduct arrest. By contrast, MSNBC aired 8 minutes and 26 seconds of coverage on the story, while CNN aired 20 minutes and 38 seconds.

Even if you just assume that worthless statistics, you should see the Fox News article. They never mention that Craig is a Republican, and the only show Republicans views against Craig.

But when Democrats say something:
Quote:
The Senate Democratic Campaign Committee also hoped to capitalize on the disorderly conduct misdemeanor now on Craig’s record. Spokeswoman Hannah August said the guilty plea “has given Americans another reason not to vote Republican.”

But while Democrats look to exploit the incident for political gain, Republicans too are saying they are displeased with the turn of events. On Monday, Craig quit Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign, where he was a co-chairman. Romney said Tuesday he didn’t know whether Craig should resign from the Senate but he was very disappointed to read about the guilty plea.

Don't you know? The Mormons own the Boy Scouts.

Then why is it so blatantly pro-Christian?

It's blatantly pro-Mormon. Which I guess is technically Christian.
