1000 Words (Share your Photos) |
|
This thread is for anyone who takes their own photos and would like to showcase them.
PLEASE DONT POST PHOTOSHOPS OR OTHERS' WORK
Saturday night, some friends and I thought we'd play a photo/theme scavenger hunt. We wrote down some topics and randomly picked one. The idea was to go out and take photos around that topic.
These were my photos from the "This doesn't belong here" theme. To block an alley (I assume), someone chained a bike to the sewer.

I went to the fair on Thursday.
They had Figure Eight Races.
On Wednesday there was another concert in the park,
Just like the previous Wednesday.
The Woodward Dream Cruise was today. I got a lot of pictures of cool cars, but little that were interesting as pictures.
Of course the manufacturers were there, whorning in on the fun.
I first saw this new Challenger as a concept car at the Auto Show a year and a half ago. Apparently, they put it into production and you can buy one next month.

"Paid for by drug forfeiture" - what a waste of money...

 | | "Paid for by drug forfeiture" - what a waste of money... | Indeed. This county is in the nation's top ten most affluent. We don't have a lot of crazy gunmen holding the cops off from inside buildings.
Um...can you narrow it down for me, Roger? Out of 96 pictures I took, I selected 32 pictures of cool cars. What do you like? Old? New? Unusual?

More of that Challenger would satisfy me, though I don't know what RS is looking for. That car looks sexy.

That's all I have of it. Also, I may have misspoke before. I'm not certain when they go on sale. I wasn't paying a whole lot of attention since I won't be able to afford one until it is a bashed up, rusty POS no one else would want. Although I am looking forward to it.
BTW, I like those pics, LM. Why the sepia tone?

The flash was ruining the shot, and it was too dark with the flash off. The sepia setting seemed to artificially light the alley for a clearer picture... When else am I going to use those color settings?

Rut-Roh! I like the older cars too. That leaves 20.
This one makes me think of those African dudes with the plate in their lower lip:
I didn't notice until just now, but I think they may have had this car in mind for that were-car in Futurama:
I could see Roger driving this one:
I had to get this one in:

I try to go to so many car shows here in DFW with my dad, but after going to the same ones so many times, we basically see the same thing. The tri-five Chevy's are always my favorite, as are most of the muscle from the late 60's through the 70's.
My dad's '56 Nomad, taken with my old Nokia's camera.

I dont know much about cars, but I'd love to have the red one here. It reminds me of the old mobster movies and the tommy gun wielding hoodlums. That would be so bad ass to drive around in.
